Where Families
Find Their Words
Structured workshops and reflection programmes for households who want to talk together — across generations, with care, and without rush.
Our Programmes
Three Ways to Begin
Each programme is facilitative and reflective. None includes personal advice, legal counsel, or counselling. They are spaces for household conversation — nothing more, and nothing less.
Family Story Conversation Workshop
RM 550 per session
A three-hour workshop for households who want to explore how your family came to be in its current shape — what stories are passed across generations, and which are still forming. Led by a senior facilitator, using prompts drawn from community conversation practice.
- Mixed-generation structured exchanges
- Senior facilitator throughout
- Reflective, conversational format
Family Reflection Half-Day
RM 1,180 per session
A half-day session for one family group of up to eight adults. Held in a private studio room, the session moves through reading, structured discussion, and quiet individual writing. Includes a printed workbook, light refreshments, and a written summary note one week after.
- Private studio room, up to 8 adults
- Printed workbook included
- Written summary note after one week
Year of Family Reflection
RM 2,560 per year
An annual subscription of four quarterly facilitated sessions for one family group. Designed to support a household across a year of careful conversation — through transitions, intergenerational moments, or simply the steady rhythm of talking together. Up to eight adults.
- Four quarterly sessions per year
- Continuity of the same facilitator
- Flexible scheduling across the year
What We Offer
Why Households Choose Wovenhall
We work within the tradition of community facilitation — slow, careful, and centred on the people in the room.
Facilitated, Not Advised
Our facilitators guide conversation — they do not advise, diagnose, or counsel. This keeps sessions open and honest without creating dependency on external judgement.
Entirely Private
What takes place in a Wovenhall session stays within the room. No recording, no case notes shared externally, no referral pathways. Just the family and the facilitator.
Unhurried by Design
Sessions are structured to allow time for thought. There are no timers, no performance expectations. Families arrive, settle, and talk at a pace that feels natural.
A Distinctive Setting
Our studio in Melaka is designed with warm, textile-inspired interiors that signal a different kind of meeting — away from the noise and pressure of everyday life.
Across Generations
Prompts and formats are designed to work across age groups — from young adults to grandparents. No generation is treated as the expert or the subject.
Something to Keep
Selected programmes include a printed workbook and written summary note — not a report, but a quiet record of what the family chose to put into words that day.
A Conversation Worth Having
Is Your Household Ready to Talk?
Many families have things they want to say but rarely find the right moment or the right conditions. Wovenhall provides both. Reach out and we will discuss which programme fits your household's needs.
