Our Programmes

Three ways for a family to talk together

Each programme at Wovenhall is facilitated, reflective, and shaped around the particular rhythm of one household.

How we work with families

Every programme at Wovenhall is led by a trained facilitator and structured around conversation — not advice. We draw on community conversation practice to create a space where family members across different generations can speak and listen with care. Programmes are held in our private studio in Melaka or arranged for a family's own venue where appropriate.

Facilitated, not directed

A facilitator guides the shape of the conversation. The content, pace, and depth come from the family itself.

Reflective, not advisory

We do not offer personal, legal, or financial advice. Sessions are for reflection and structured exchange only.

Private and bounded

Each session is confidential to the family group. Facilitators do not retain or share what is discussed.

Programme 01

Family Story Conversation Workshop

A three-hour workshop for households who want to talk together about family story — how a household came to be in its current shape, what stories are passed across generations, and which stories are still being shaped. The workshop is led by a senior facilitator and uses prompts drawn from community conversation practice. Participants are seated in mixed-generation groups and work through a sequence of structured exchanges. The workshop is reflective and conversational; it is not counselling and does not include advice on personal circumstances.

  • Senior facilitator leads all exchanges
  • Mixed-generation seating and structured prompts
  • Three hours, held in our Melaka studio
  • Reflective format — no personal advice given
